What is ER model?
ER model stands for “Entity-Relationship model”.
It’s a method of data modeling.
There are 3 components in ER model.
It’s “entity”, “attribute”, “relationship”.
1. Entity
Entity is an aggregate of data that it worth recording.
For example, In the corporate activities, It point “customer”, “order”, “product”, “employee”, etc.
2. Attribute
Attribute is an information held by the entity.
For example, In the attribute of employee, It point “name”, “address”, “phone number”.
3. Relationship
Relationship points relation of entity and entity.
For example, In relationship of between employee and department, it point relationship of “supervises”.
